WOGA Overview
The World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) is a three-facility gymnastics club located in Plano, Frisco, and Dallas, Texas.The head coaches at WOGA are Valeri Liukin, gold and silver medalist at the 1988 Olympic Games representing the former Soviet Union, and Yevgeny Marchenko, a five-time World Champion in Sport Acrobatics.
History
Since opening in 1994, WOGA has had a number of successes unprecedented in US gymnastics history, including placing more than 30 National Gymnastics Team members. They are the most decorated gymnastics club in the United States.In 2003, WOGA gymnasts won 3 individual gold medals at the World Championships and 4 individual gold medals at the US National Gymnastics
Championships.
In 2004, Carly Patterson became the second American gymnast to become the Women's' Olympic All-Around Gymnastics Champion, and the first American to do so in a non-boycotted Olympics.
In 2005, Nastia Liukin, the daughter of Valeri Liukin, was crowned US National Champion and placed 2nd at the World Championships. She defended her US title in 2006. Then in 2007 and 2008 finished 2nd. She was also the national bars champion multiple times. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she won a gold medal in the women's all-around competition, silver medals in the team, uneven bars, and balance beam competitions, and a bronze medal in the floor exercise competition.

Monday – July 11th
Camp Welcome- 8:30-9:00am Work-out: 9:00am – 2:00pm (lunch provided) Take this opportunity to rest up from your travels. It’s going to be a busy week loaded with fun!!!
Tuesday – July 12th
Work-Out: 9:00am - 2:00pm (lunch provided) Ice Cream Social: 2:00pm-3:00pm Ice Cream social will be directly following work-out at the Frisco gym. .
Wednesday – July 13thth
Work-out: 9:00am – 2:00pm (lunch provided) Campers’/Parents Night Out: 5:30-7:00pm Location TBA - Reservations Required
Thursday – July 14th
Work-out: 9:00am – 2:00pm (lunch provided) Hawaiian Falls Water Park: 3:00 – 5:00pm Hawaiian Falls is a short drive from WOGA Frisco. Entry to the park will be provided for all campers. Family members may purchase tickets from WOGA at a discounted rate. Additional tickets must be ordered by July 1st. Bring your sunscreen!!
Friday – July 15th
Adjusted work-out: 9:00am – 2:00pm (lunch provided) Last hour (1pm – 2pm) photos, special awards and good-byes
Nastia Liukin will be making a surprise appearance at camp for autographs! Be sure you bring your camera!
Valeri Liukin 2011
Since 1994, WOGA Gymnastics has proudly hosted the Valeri Liukin Invitational, which attracts top teams from across the USA and the world. As one of the largest and longest running International competitions in the United States, the Valeri Liukin Invitational brings together a magnificent field of competitors and is an outstanding opportunity to compete with future Olympic stars.

Competition Information:
$10,000 in prize money will be awarded for Individual Events and Team Cup (Level 10-Elite).
Entry Information:
Individual Competitor Fee/$80 per gymnast (Only 4 Elite Competitors per Club) Level 4-10 Team /$50
Awards will be based on the top three scores per event. Team does not need to be designated, all ages included.
Elite Team/$200 Awards will be based on the top two scores per event. 4 gymnasts per team.
Entry fees should be submitted with one check per gym, payable to WOGA. Meet fees must be paid in full at time of registration.
Deadline: November 13, 2010. No changes or refunds after November 27, 2010
