Nastia has updated her Favorites and Of the Moment lists! We have also launched a new Montage Challenge. Britney Spears is the featured artist for February! Entries close on 8 March!

Thank you to everyone who entered the last montage challenge. We haven’t forgotten all of your hard work however due to the overwhelming number of emails Nastia’s website received after the Olympics we were forced to change our email program. For this reason, we are sure that we missed some entries in the last montage challenge. If you entered a montage in the last challenge, please visit the playlist here and see if you montage is listed. If your montage is not listed and was uploaded to youtube on or prior to 31 August 2008, please send us an email. If your montage has been deleted by youtube, you can also submit it via a file sharing service such as yousentit.com. Nastia is keen to announce a winner for the challenge and we would like to give all her fans who worked on a clip as possible the chance to be included in the entries. We will not be able to accept any emails received after 24 February.

Nastia sent some new photographs from her trip to New York for the Women’s Sports Association Salute where she was honoured as the Individual Sportswoman of the Year! She also wanted to let everyone know that she will be a guest on TRL this Thursday 16 October. The show airs at 3:30 PM ET/PT on MTV! Be sure to tune in!

Nastia has updated the From Nastia album with a brand new set of photographs showing what she has been getting up to since the Olympic Games and also on The Tour of Gymnastics Superstars. We have also updated Nastia’s Store with a number of new products in Nastia’s signature line available through gymsupply.com. Be sure to check out the new poster, water bottle and apparel!  Look out for more updates tomorrow.

Nastia arrived safely back in the US yesterday to a rousing reception from friends, family and fans at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The United Airlines jet she arrived in was doused as part of a water-cannon salute - courtesy of two fire engines. On hand to celebrate Nastia’s achievements was good friend and 2004 Olympic All Around Champion Carly Patterson. Nastia, Carly and her Mom and Dad held a press conference before Nastia and her family departed for home. Her arrival was broadcast live on NBCOlympics.com.

Celebrations for Nastia continue today with WOGA hosting a private function in her honor. The public will have their chance to celebrate her success with a parade through Parker, TX. Originally scheduled for August 23, the parade was has been postponed until August 30 due to bad weather in the area.

In other news, Nastia and Shawn Johnson are on the cover of US weekly. The article in the magazine details the triumphs and struggles of Nastia and her teammates in Beijing. A preview of the cover can be seen on the right.

Finally, we have sadly been forced to close Nastia’s guestbook indefinitely following repeated abuse by a number of visitors to her website. We are currently seeking a new script to manage her guestbook with that will allow for increased moderation and thereby protection for Nastia and visitors to her website. In the meantime her Official Myspace remains open. Please note that you will need to send a friend request in order to post a comment on her profile. If you have already sent a message but it has not yet appeared on her profile, do not resend your message. Nastia has received many thousands of messages since the Olympic began and we are still working to process them all. We thank you for your patience.
